Er, actually, about a minute after I hit reblog I got some very important (and positive) money-related news out of the blue.
What to do in case of a plot bunny attack: Keep calm. Save your last work. You will likely not come back to it very soon. Write down everything you’ve got inspired to. Do it now or the plot bunny hops away. Feel good and excited about this new piece. Go to sleep. You need the rest, because the plot bunny will attack again. And then rinse and repeat.
I have two microsoft word documents named “Conversations, scenarios, unused stuff” and “Different scenarios” with pages full of unused stuff (as the name may suggested) conversations, ideas for a locations or world building.
Sometimes its just a joke for a character that I havent even written yet or something that came to me while taking a shower.
Plots over plots and sometimes its just a english word for a facial expression that I always described but couldn’t remember the name of.
Lately its deaths of side characters that are really going to hurt and haunt my main one and that I have planned for quite a while but I had no idea beyond of letting them die and sometimes its a badass empowering move she could do and well…
Every single one of those documents has at least 150 pages or more (havent counted them lately) and you know what? I love them!
Everything about them! They are my go to, when I have no idea for a szene or a name for a character. Ideas everywhere! They are imporant and I love them and I have them saved up on 3 different devices cause thats how important they are.
You gotta write down your plot bunny’s. Do it! Cause if not, you will be so angry at your past self, its infuriating.
